Setup ShareCart for Vintage Themes

Note: This article is only relevant if your theme is compatible with Vintage themes. If you are using an Online Store 2.0 theme instead, see Setup ShareCart for OS 2.0 Themes.

Head to  Online Store > Themes in your Shopify admin.

Next to your current theme, click the Customize button to open the Theme editor.

In the left sidebar select the  App embeds icon.

Locate the ShareCart app embeds from the list and click the toggle to enable the ones that are relevant for your store.

Cart Page Button

This is the ShareCart button that will be displayed on your cart page. If you don't have a cart page and use a flyout or drawer cart instead then you can skip this one.

Flyout Cart Button

This is the ShareCart button that will be displayed on your flyout cart. If you don't use a flyout cart in your theme, then you can skip this one.

Product Page Button

This is the ShareCart button that will be displayed on your product page.

Product Page Messaging

This is the ShareCart messaging that will be displayed on your product page. It lets your customers know that you offer ShareCart and, when clicked, provides a helpful modal explaining how it works.

Hit the Save button to commit your changes.

The ShareCart buttons and messaging should now be setup on your store. Enable your integration to make them visible to your customers.
